Very nice fab on both the skid and the bumper

But just as a FYI the protective sleeve is on backwards, the protective sleeve is supposed to go on the drum side so the drum does not burn thru the rope.

hahaha theres a protective sleeve on both ends on the drum side and the hook side and the hook is permanantly attached so its pretty idiot proof on which side goes where

and thanks again for all the positive feedback

Hi great jeep from what I see.
Can you show some pictures of the top rear shock mounts, they look interesting mounted at that angle, and did you make the mounts yourself.

i have thought about it and was so close i have the hole traced out in the cargo area but i just decided it wasnt the safest mod incase of a rear end accident or rollover im just gonna wait till i can afford a legit fuel cell and figure out how i want my cargo area to look

yeah i made the mount its just 1.5" square tube welded some plate on the ends and bolted it to where the factory bumpstops used to mount and drilled some holes and welded bolts in to mount the shocks on the only reason i mounted them at an angle was because i raised the lower shock mounts on the rear axle then the shocks that came with my rc 6.5 la were too long and im too cheap to buy new ones i need to make a new one and mount them at less of an angle cause shocks are less effective the more you lean them over they perform best vertical but im more worried about articulation than a smooth ride on the road

oops!!! wrong pic it wont let me delete it oh well heres the right one lol

all you have to do is find someone with a brake big enough to bend the whatever thickness plate you go with drill a few holes and weld it together and you can always go with 1/8" plate to save some weight too but i wanted mine rock proof

Thanks for the picks of your shock mounts, Looks nice and clean,
do you find more flex with the shock mounted further in at the top over standard?
Cheers Cheracon Express.

no i never noticed an increase in flex with the shock mount but my rear doesnt flex good anyway because of the garbage shackle angle i got with my rc lift
