Default Front bumper

Built it from scratch, used 4inch & 3/4 all 3/16 metal.I still need to do some fab on it to mount the d-rings.

All tacked in place, now ready for some welding.

some help from the wife she did a good job on her beads.

all smoothed out with a tiger disc and a 4" grinder

painted and installed

I might just add a winch plate to it and a XRC8 from smitty built but for now I want to add some lockers in the back, bigger tires and might go higher on the lift so I got some saving up to do.

Any chance we can get some dimensions for the sheet metal? I was wanting to build one just like it. was wondering how long you made the front and sides. Looks real nice!

kind resembles this...........

i like it. nice work.

i plan on a reciever winch mount (hence the front reciever) so i can swap my winch from front to rear, and keep it out of the weather. that should make it last twice as long. a winch is an expensive tool to leave out in the elements, not to mention all the sticky hands around.

i dont know if its better built, haha but thanks man mine is all 3/16 as well.

i love the look of a winch bumper, but i like my tools too much to leave them in the rain!! i also have a better approach angle than most winch bumpers cuz its tighter to the grill.

i also think being able to swap your winch from front to rear is just cool. would help in a lot of situations.
