i am building a front bumper out of 3x3 box steel. i had to clean up the front crossmember i built after smashing the front end into a bank under some water. here are the pics of the crossmember

this shows one of the sides cleaned up so that my bumper mounts will sit flush with the uni body rails

i had to add some pieces in to get the length i need. this is all scrap from a stand that i built for a sulfur dioxide tank. the metal is 3/16 walls, and all the flat iron is all 1/4 inch.

i know theres not much in this thread yet but ive got more pics and should have this thing done by tomorrow. its turning out really nice. you should be seeing the pics by tomorrow if everything goes as planned.

thanks man. i actually stole the design from 99xj4x4. i really liked his bumper so i built it from the looks of his.

well to build it would be about 300 dollars for the cost of materials and labor. shipping might cost more than that though. im guessing it weighs about 70 pounds.
