yeah i have a wj arm on mine and im noticing the box output shaft has horizontal play. ive been looking into durango and j20 boxes. i guess the j20 is the way to go, any input on that?

I currently have an AGR box tapped for a ram. The J20 box might be a good deal since it was a 3/4 ton truck. You might check Dodge 3/4 ton boxes too.

No issues now. But I did before with rubber bushings. At this point I am running some really solid stuff with a super solid track bar. It steers better now than ever. The key is getting everything, especially the one upper bushing on the axle really solid. I used the one on the diff housing.

i dont recall what lengths the arms are and neither frame or axle mount were angled. i want to say in the 32"-36" range but i would have to measure. besides, its a 3 link, theres really no cookie-cutter set up. ive seen so many setups and they are all different

i just swapped in a d60 rear and d44 front out of 78/79 ford and did a custom 3 link.
2x.25 lowers with 7/8x3/4 heims on both ends 34" eye to eye
1.5x.25 upper on driver side with 3/4x3/4 heims on both ends 38" eye to eye

the upper i used 1.25" hiems, not as tight a fit as some say. you dont need .25 wall for your upper, it will never see a rock. i think i went 1.5 od dom with a .120 wall, cant remember.

mud digger.... sounds very close to the numbers on my setup, 3/4 hiems should work fine but make sure they are high quality. i went with a 1.25" because i figured the larger hiem would last longer. same forces applied to a larger area, less stress?
