Default a pillar light mount's first set,how they look?

made the out of scrap metal.first set,how they look?-img_1626.jpg

work in progress,was parked for about 2 years,light mount on the work's.

I'd round out the ends of the angle iron so that it fully contacts the a-pillar rather than sticking straight out. If that makes sense

I agree cutting a pattern out in the actual mounting point would look better, and have more welding point.

well i like the idea they just look like you didnt try to hard. you should coupe the angle iron so there isnt a gap once welded to the plate but not bad for the first try keep me posted on how the finished product looks

yeah its working out good,thats just my fist set to see how it would look,and yeah i will make some new ones that would look way better than that,those took me bout 1 hour to make out of scrap metal next set will look better,thanks and i will do better job at it,if i find a way to make them faster and better ill put some of my best sets for sale,since i got a few family members with XJ,ZJ,and many 4x4's ill make different set up's.

Cool sorry

sorry i havent finished my A pillar project,got caught on something else,i needed a bumper so im building one out of 4 inch C channel,will post some pics later,and about how im going to mount my A pillar lights,yes im planning on using some self tapper screws,but still not sure,my new bumper will be coming up soon...thanks yall.

I'd round off the angle iron to match the a-pillar. It'll look a lot better that way and give you more surface to weld on.
