as far as design plans they pretty much were made on the fly. the dimensions are 30" deep x 42" wide. i could have about another 1.5" wider but i had to have enough clearance for my lid to clear my OBA bracket when a tank was in it. basic layout is 22/32 plywood top and bottom with a 1x6 for the frame. the support pieces torwards the back are some scrap ply wood that i cut to fit. the dividers are 1x4 pt that i had in scrap pile. i did not plan this but a red plastic coke rack will fit perfectly in center section and slides out of the way. it has 8 hinges under carpet which is probably overkill but i usually over do stuff. the flip up tie downs are from HD thought they looked good and actually used them tonight. works god. the center one can be used as a handle to open it. on the jack mounts. they are 1/8 flat stock cut into 4x4 squares. 4 3/8 holes in the plate. the shaft is 4" piece of 1" square tube, then a 2.5" long 1/2" bolt welded into shaft. just got some 1/2 " washers and some rubber fender washers with 1/2" wingnuts to secure them. i am in the process of making some mounts the attach to my roof rack. they are 2 piece clamps that have (2) 1/2" holes in them. one hole is for jack mount bolt and the other is for a receiver hitch lock. it fits perfectly and i can lock jack on for security. the jack will be inside cab for the most part but if i need room, i have an option that will take 2 minutes to move it. thanks for the comments. oh yeah and the carpet was from HD it was a little high but you can only buy it in 12' lengths so i got a 4'x12' section and used about half. i have around $65 in it and it might could have been done a little cheaper but i am cery happy with it. i feel its the same quality that you could buy from a magazine. oh yeah the cost may be a little more than i said i forgot i got carried away with the air stapler
