Default Fender flare removal help!

Everyone of my flares wont stay it it's clip/bracket. Can anyone be specific on how to install them? Or if not, I'm open to completely removing them but I'm not wanting to cut anything, maybe just fill in the holes and paint but want it to look clean! Any pics or suggestions would be helpfull!

its not gona look clean if you dont cut them because they have lips that are used to space the fender out. Just cut the front and roll the rear. Looks the best in my opinion
