First you need good bumpers to tie the cage to. If a shop does the work, a cage like that will run $2 to $3k.

You're going to have to go to a local fabrication shop to get this type of work done. Unless he has the tools and skills to do the job, but if he did, you wouldn't have asked right? LOL

Not just bumpers either, stiffening the uniframe would also have to happen to do it right.

Personally I think Hybrid would be better but I did like my external for the most part in my old cherokee. My friends first external xj cage so the fit could have been better.........
