External Roll cage...
I found an XJ for $250 down the street from me but the only way I'm allowed to buy it is if I can find plans for a roll cage and build it myself... I flipped my last truck and totalled it so my parents are making me put a roll cage in it... Does anyone have plans or pics of a NICE looking external roll cage for a 4 door XJ???
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Not aware of anybody that sells plans. Why do you want an exoskeleton? You can get an internal roll cage from several company's that wont cost as much! Plus they can be purchased as a bolt in kit.

Dont have the "plans" but here are some pics of the 5KXJ that Peterson's 4wheel & Offroad built..
Sucks that is the best pic I could find of the 5KXJ. I wish they had more of a story with better pics.

ok thanks guys... I like the exo Cage cuz you dont lose any room on the inside of the vehicle and you protect the body and engine a lil more... and I would rather pay more for more tubing to make an exo than to pay for body work.

yeah that is my thoughts as well more interior room and less body damage you will still get some but it will stop the serious damage

Boydballer92....if your driving is bad enough that your parents insist on a roll cage, perhaps you shouldn't drive lol.
I don't know you or your skill level but to me it sounds like if you're gonna do an exo cage you will need help fabricating, designing, etc. and you don't want to rely on just anyone (you can burn the paint while welding). you will need a tube bender to make it look good.
hopefully you're not planning an exo with no lift...that would look gay as aids.
what? I can't read gibberish. punctuation
