Default Drag link? tie rods?

So i just dropped $800 in a set of tires and they went to do the alignment and said they couldnt do it due to the fact that my tie rod ends were bad and i had a ball joint going bad so i was kinda thinkin bout makin a new beefy tie rod and possibly drag link i found a rough trail tie rod and drag link kit with steering stabilizer for around $230 an im pretty sure i can make something for a lil cheaper i wanted to see what you guys had made and get some ideas

You could even go to a pick and pull and grab a set from a V8 ZJ which had bigger steering for the extra weight of the V8. You can get them both for around $30-$50.

im making a steering linkage for mine right now with 1.25 inch .120 wall Dom and 3/4 inch heims. i have all the pieces and it ran me about 100 for it and will be about 25-30 to have it powder coated.
I also like how it looks just sitting in place mocked up, even though the jeeps still on jacks

FYI, the ZJ draglink will be the same as your 2001 XJ, the only upgrade is the tie rod.

And the ZJ tie rod end will fit just as is.
