I haven't done it, but im pretty sure you would just measure the size you want, cut it and line up the holes to drill it. Shouldnt be that bad

i was going to use self tapping screws and make them a lil bigger than the stock plastic ones so they are like a enrty/toe kick gaurd..

sounds cool i got one of them truck bed boxes and have been tring to figure out what to do with it. i might make a switch box out of some of it, or make a splash guard. but if i were you i would make shur it aint to think befor pitting it in so it wont get in the way of the door.

i was thinking a 2 sided box with the front flipping up on hinges so tht my tools are out of the way. it would be pushed against my back seat so tht i could get in to it from there too. and mabey a gas can holder so tht my gas cans dont tip over but idk if i have enough material to do it yet.. iv just got to be samrt about where i cut it from.. if i was smart id make 2 can holders next to my tool box thing and hold it together with pop rivits and eather self tapping screws to the floor or pop rivits or make it so tht it is removible.. idk yet ill know more after i make my entry gaurds..

ohh yeah tht takes time lol thts y i had my dadf help me with my bumper and rack.. cause i wasnt to into welding then but iv gottin a lil better need to be great for wht im going to go to school for (auto body) lol.. but yeah it dosent have to be perfict ull prob grind all ur welds out smooth after like every body else dose but the only prob with tht is tht u lose some of the bead so try beveling ur steel and then welding in the grove of the too to get the most bead left on ur metal after grinding it all out and making it look all pretty.. LOL
