Thanks it reminded me of the one I bought a the dollar tree for a $1 so I popped it apart and just added a inline buss fuse holder I had

Hmmm.. Interesting. Using the 7805 you will be providing a solid 1000mA to the ports. Those Chinese chargers at best output 500mA and probably waaaay less. USB standard is 500mA but some of my cheapo eBay chargers seem to take way too long to charge my stuff.

... Digging through my electronics crap looking for spare 7805s...
