Yea i am actually trying to find out what shipping would be for something this big, hopefully i will know tomorrow, i do know it is to big for the post office to ship.

unless the rack is welded, you can ship it in peices w/ instructions. try UPS.

I can have it welded if you can send it in pieces. Just need a price. And like i said maybe for a few bucks more can you make a longer one? approximately 1 foot from the top of the windshield?

I could but without fastening it all together i wouldnt know if it would fit perfectly together when you got it. i do all this with a manual pipe bender and a big big square and common garage tools. these being my first couple ones to sell, i just want to make sure the customer will be perfectly happy with it.

would welding conduit work out? if it does then why wouldnt he weld his own...

btw how did the weight test go on the rack? < about holding a big tire up there and the bolts not rattling off over time? oh and NICE LIGHTS! saw the new pics

A buddy of mine made a roof rack for his landrover discovery out of 1" conduit from lowes. He welded it all together, the thing is not only strong, it's beautiful. I'll try to get pics sometime, he did gutter mounts and everything. To test it out, I climbed up and stood on it and kinda lightly jumped around on it and needless to say, it felt SOLID. I weigh 240lbs btw.

wow, nice! thanks for the info...and ya tell me about it (with stuff coming up) but whenever you get to it id like to see how the screws would hold up - thanks
