I would much rather have an E-Brake than a cup holder. That is only because I have a manual and park on hills but looking good.

you know that using the e-brake and parking on a hill isnt that good of an idea, especially on older vehicles the e-brake tends to not hold as well....I always leave my vehicles in gear, rarely do I use the e-brake.
