Default cowl induction....

hey guys, just looking for opinions and suggestions. i just got a cowl induction hood from a buddies s-10 he wrecked, i was thinging of cutting out the cowl induction scooping and then fitting it to my xj, i know its mostly for looks but i figured it would lower the underhood temp by a couple degrees at least. i thought it would be cool just because i don't think i have ever seen an xj with a c.i. scoop. so any ideas about if its worth the work, or any suggestions about how to make it a little easier of a job? thanks.

Do it. If for no other reason than your under hood temps will drop.
