double beadlocks... just get you some H1 wheels and have them re-centered... and get some PVC inserts to make the double beadlocks instead of just one side like most... they come with runflats but they sucks and are heavy... you dont want them... lol

first one is the 12 bolt style... designed for radials and way better.

the second are 8 bolt style and i was breaking the outter bolts off like they were nothing... but not designed for on road use at high speeds and radials... made for the 36 bias plys...

you can get the wheels on ebay for $250ish shipped... theres a guy on pirate who sells the PVC inserts and can send the recentering sections in different styles... or you can send the wheels to him and get him to recenter for 5 lug and backspacing... heck you can buy the wheels from him too... even make rock rings that protect the bolts you see sticking out... pretty sweet... my 8 stud style will eventually go on the XJ but the 12 bolt style is on my 03 cummins... that how i know the 8 bolt style wont make it on the road... lol... even drilled the holes larger and stuck 9/16 grade 8 bolts and nuts instead of lugs and they pulled in half like they were nothing... lol

Just do what I did, find a buddy with access to a water jet, give him dimensions, have him cut them out, then weld em up! Pretty simple!

Crawlfabs are weld on. The inner rig is welded to wheel. Weld to any steel rim & width.

So do they first cut the lip off off the rim then weld the inner ring on? Then the outer ring bolts to the inner?

X1994J Do you have any pics of the sides of the rim completed? Like the width of the rim not the front?

There is a new shop here in town that has a water jet and i cant imagine they would charge alot to cut them for me. And ill have to ask my uncle he has some pretty serious connections around town. He may be able to get them to do it even cheaper....

The inner ring sits inside the lip.. like so.

The inner bead seats on the rim like normal. The outer bead is clamped between the inner and outer ring. Here is a shot with the outer ring sitting on top of the inner...

Another shot from the side.

Here is a pic of it welded...

This style of bead lock will make your rim about an inch wider over all.

You guys that have DIY beadlocks, how do you center the tire on the wheel? All the manufacturers of BL have a centering ring and anitconeing ring. I dont see those with the DIY

Very carefully. I centered everything best I could. i never even put mine on a balance machine, dumped 8 ounces of BB's in each one, mounted them up, and ran them down the freeway at 80 mph. There was a very small amount of coning, that really didn't bother be or affect the way they worked, heck, nobody ever even noticed it or said anything about it. I ran mine at 4 pounds in Moab, it liked it.

well I have had 2 set of DIY and both sets coned bad. Took way to long to center and also a slow leak. But thats expected with DIY. After spending money on both sets I learned my lesson and bought some TrailReady. I saw buy some real one.
