Theres a free one 15min from my house. How hard would it be to make this fit in the back of an XJ?

The CJ wont fit without major mods, I would look for a YJ bar. That will fit right in the back.

I put a CJ bar in the back of my XJ and all I did was cut about 4 inches off the bottom.

lol. I had to do that with a TJ roll bar I bought from the junkyard. Strapped it to the top upside down and drove it home. it had tan padding so several people made comments about my Jeep looking like a deer.

you end up gettin it?
I found an 83 CJ bar for $45 near me....but I dunno if it's beefy enough for my 2dr XJ chop job. I mean somethings better than nothing, but not if i save up and have a 6point installed.

it looks like a stock 4pt 83 CJ bar. Think it'll fit?
