Inside this box where the arrow is pointing is the scrap piece left over that we cut out from the front fender when we made room for the front wheel. It worked perfect in this place because it followed the contour body line of the rear fender. Then we simply made a piece out of sheet that you can see in the pic right behind the box that is kind of in a Z shape to match. By doing this we were able to bring that steel bumper around the corner and kind of recess in to the quarter panel body line and it not stick out away from the body. I like how it turned out.

Tonight I cut hood vents in. Got the idea from another thread on here. They are awesome. Used the vegetable grill sheet like in the other thread. Liked it so well that I'm gonna make grill inserts out of the same stuff.

Take it from a guy who's old man lost an eye that way...put on some glasses. It's all fun and games now though. He's got a glass eye and jokes about it. But at the time, it was a VERY serious matter

I agree completely Adam. I should take the time to get everything ready including safety equipment before I do stuff. I have a bad habit of just picking stuff up and starting on it with taking that time or thinking about it.

Oh I do the same thing. It's not til my old man walks out in the garage, places his fake eye in front of me and says "you want this?" that I go get some glasses haha
