This view show where we are ditching the old bulky plastic bumper. Welded a couple of pieces to the body. Then where the curve is, is where the 1/8" plate steel bumper will come around and meet.

Corner of the bumper cut out. Remember how the recessed spot was in the sheet metal just a couple pics back. Now see the bumper corner will fit right into place.

Headed to the garage to do some work now. Bad thing about this whole thing is the garage is a half hour trip. That's ok though. The jeep is in good hands with the Bro-N-Law.

This is the thickness of the 1"pipe we are using to tube these fender flares. It's not gonna bend easy. Already tested it on the jeep. It's currently just tack welded and I'm able to hang onto it and do dips.

Carl shaping the pipe for the fender tubing. It turned out great. Wish you guys could see it. I didn't get home till 2:00 this morning. Was having to much fun. LOL.
