wow dude !!! I guess ace is the place Impressive !!! glad to see it didn't cause you any problems...
btw, after replacing my front bumper last week with another stock one, I found the front had been tapped pretty good and cause a front frame (at bumper mount) to be tweaked... so now I'm thinking a real bumper and winch myself, someday.....

Awesome start! My question is I notice you incorporated where the trailer hitch would normally tie into did you just put the metal in there then mark where you needed to drill and weld those nuts in?

I noticed you said 7/8" holes for the D rings... I really hope you didn't actually drill them to 7/8" holes. If you did the D rings aren't going to fit. A 3/4" D ring has a 7/8" pin, so you need to drill a 1" hole, not a 7/8" hole. Hence why when you buy D ring mounts they have a 1" hole drilled in them. So if you actually did drill them to 7/8", you might as well buy a 1" drill bit and start drilling, hole saw won't work now.... When I made my bumper I did a 1" drill bit, wish I would of done a hole saw though, took about 30 minutes a hole from start to finish.
Anyway, nice bumper and good start of the rear. Though when I did mine I used all the hitch bolts plus one extra further back, so i have 10 bolts holding my bumper/carrier on. But 8 should hold. The A to Z fab is the same kit I used too (mega spindle upgrade) and it is a very nice kit, have had it for over a year and it's still holding strong... though I do wish I would of went with a bushing style hinge and not a spindle type. The spindle that comes with the kit is great, but I eventually need to mount some gas cans and a high lift and I don't know how they spindle will hold, so I'm going to redo the whole swing at some point with a double shear bushing mount.
Just some food for thought if you ever plan to put some accessories on the swing, if you do put a carrier on it.

Okay, I used a 15/16" hole saw and ended up around a 1" hole
I have $60 in this project so far because I got the metal for free. I would guess around $100 worth of material in the Front bumper
The gussets are a Good Idea, I would of used 2x4 or bigger tube but I just used what I had. Any way I will look into adding a few for moar strength
Thanks Guys! I still have not got any more scrap to work with
