One thing I would highly recommend is to build an extension cord, or just buy the one that Eastwood cells. It's about $100. I built one with wire and plugs that I bought at Home DepotI ended up with about 10 feet more cord for the same price
I have this welder. I bought the cart too, on special and with their 10% coupon. I really like this machine, and can recommend it. I bought an oversized bottle of 75/25 and had about $700 in the whole thing. I also have Eastwoods AC/DC- TIG machine & plasma cutter. I'm happy with all of it. Also- Eastwoods stands behind their products.

ALSO - there are consumables available on Ebay that are different shapes and have more stick-out from the nozzle. I have not purchased these yet but I intend to. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181862066395?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Easy fix. Go to Home Depot, buy a male 220v plug to fit your dryer outlet, hack the plug off your Eastwoods cord and install the Depot plug in it's place. Take a picture of your dryer outlet with your phone before you go, so you get the proper thing.
the dryer cord says 30A 125/250v
this will still work?
I wish I had bought the 60. I got the TIG/Plasma/Cart pkg about three years ago. I had a bit of problem with the Plasma machine...but in retrospect these problems were probably caused by me & my ignorance. This machine became a whole lot more reliable when I started supplying it with dry air. That...and practice. Made all the difference.
