Hey everybody just bought this 92 XJ and the previous owner had the viair and the tank behind the seat and a shelf over it. Well now you cant fold the seat down and fill her with stuff. Not even any room for a good size cooler???? Travesty. I have redone the entire back of the Jeep. Let me know what you think. Check out my gallery I have more off road pics coming.

Don't worry gotta live a little dangerous. Lock washers on a 3/8 bolt with a wing nut cranked down with vice grips...Nah its not goin anywhere. Unless I roll it and don't have my seat belt on and I fall into the back seat roof. I'll take my chances. Plus there is a cover on the blade.

 

Ehh I think I would at least flip the axe around...Other than that cool.

The roof section is MDF...ran out of birch.

 

Hey I really like your light bar aka stock roof rails?? I was thinking of doing the same thing to keep my height down so I can get into my garage. Let me know how that works. nice rig BTW

 

thanks i love it but it still has plenty of things to add on lol. But no i just took a square tube and bent up some metal brackets and bolted to the first holes on the roof rack rails, so now it sits lower and it gave the wires a place to hide. Plus now i can still use my roof rack and i can even strap a canoe up there.

Very nice. however I would put the shovel and axe outside on top of the jeep attacted to the rack.
