Looking for someone to help me with a project.
I can design and make things but I do not know how to 3D/CAD it. I need to have something 3D modeled into a file that can be 3D printed.

Does anyone do this kind of work? Anyone want a project? Some work on the side?

 

You can get Google SketchUp pro it's a very easy learning cad program it's free in less you want to export the files to other cad programs like Auto Cad cam complete so on.

 

If its something fairly basic, I can draw it up. If its complex, probably not. I am no pro.

What type of file would you need? Something like a .dfx?

 

Imagine a funnel with a spiral inside when viewed from the top. I guess boarders on complex.

 

I can draw you up a funnel. Dont think that would be too hard but adding the spiral on the inside is most likely past my skills.

 

Yup, I can do it. Send me a sketch with some rough dimensions on it. How are you planning to fabricate? 3D printing is probably your only option for a funnel with a spiral in it!
