Advice making CAD files for a set of DIY beadlocks?
Is there anyone here that would maybe help me with this? I have access to the plasma table and can cut it out no problem, but there might be some aspect to making these that I don't understand. I'd like to make the front and rear ring and pieces to stiffen the middle, but I do not know what those middle pieces look like as I've never seen them just know they exist.
Any advice? It can't be as easy as measuring the rim, but who knows...

I think if you use 1/4" you won't need them.
I think theyre called anti conning rings. They hold the outer ring flat instead of letting it dip towards the center of the wheel.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing that name. Would there be any harm in making them and using them? If the wheel is insanely over-built that is fine. I just don't want to do anything dangerous. The more I read the more I start to confuse myself. Some people put the anti-conning ring one way some another way.
