Default Advice with fender trim

Whats up CF?
Today i put my 31s on my 94 xj and semi trimmed my fenders where they meet the front bumper and rocker, it looks like shyt but i plan on finishing up once i get blades for my body saw. My question is, how do all u trimmed fender runners keep the plastic that is in the wheel well to stay tucked up in there after u have cut the fender all to hell...im pretty sure that wheel well plastic keeps water, dirt and snow out of the engine bay and away from the computer and such. Pics n input would be great. Thx

Mine is wrapped up with the stock foglight cable and just dangles around as im driving over trees. Ive had it pop off once and i just got out and grabbed it, then slapped it back on when i got home. The smart thing to do would be mount it to the triangle brace behind its original mounting place, but i havent gotten around to it.

Look at the first few pictures in this thread, it will give you an idea of how to keep your Wheel-well plastic, you could even rivet the plastic to the tabs...
