Default 8.8 Swap into XJ

I'm buying an 8.8 from a scrap yard around here for $150. It has disk brakes and the gears match my front. My question is what do you have to do to get the disk brake setup working? Like what other parts will I need? Also, I want to put an aussie locker in it so what level of difficulty is it to install one? Thanks

Doing this swap in the near future myself, Google search for "ford 8.8 xj" and you'll have any question answered that you might have. Or search this forum, theres many write-ups and how-to's regaurding this swap.

x2 ^ weld on new spring perches and new shock mounts with new ubolts and plates and you are done. you will have to play with it some to get the ebrake to work.

you may want to swap the master or add an adjustable proportioning valve to get the brake balance right
