unless you plan on backing into things the third brake light normally doesn't see a lot of abuse.

NO the one in that back window. the one they make fancy covers for? mine is my DD/ offroader on the weekend!!

I know you can get custom stickers made to go over your 3rd brake light. I got one made from a seller on ebay sveral years ago and has held up great. They can pretty much make it say anything you want and also have several designs to choose from.

nice jeep, and yeah mines in the back window behind the glass and was wondering it some d-plate would work?

i actually used the VHT Night Shades brake light/turn signal paint on mine. nice black out effect that still lets the light shine through when it's lit. and, of course, have to rock the Albe's sticker and support the local bike shop.

for an actual cover, i'd say find any sch'weet design you like and a piece of metal or plastic you can shape to fit it and cut out the design. use some old cardboard as a template, and git t' werk!

yup thats what i was thinking think im ganna use some thin alum. d-plat, and mabey cut a SWC into it wit hmy dremel, or a JEEP logo, or a 4X4 logo which one guys..






(not my dads logo but still SWC)

defiantly personalize it with the SWC. having one with JEEP or 4X4 would seem really generic. if you are going to make your own, i'd say personalize it right.

yeah i was going to have some stickers made up from one of my dads friends and do the back windows but ii think im ganna get em tinted... and yeah thats what i was thinking, at least no one would have one like it!!!!!

nice! defiantly a good idea to go with the larger block type letters so you still get ample light casting.

yup thank you, it took me like 10 min to make the template!! can i cut 1/8th in alum with a jig saw??
