I just made a couple sketches and made it piece-by-piece after i mounted the brackets. I would measure out what i needed and put the rough shape onto a piece of cardboard. From there you can adjust the cardboard piece how you like and trace it onto the steel when you are ready. I'm limited in my tools to a sawzall, angle grinder, and welder basically so I couldn't make precise cuts all at once. My technique was more more cut, tack, weld, cut tack, weld, a couple pieces at a time to avoided any amplification of errors in dimensions.

Bumper is all finished with a few coats of bedliner, I'll have pics of it mounted when the weather is nicer. I decided to ditch the two supports since they were hitting the grille slightly and I didnt feel like welding galvanized thin wall to 1/4th inch steel.

not bad bossokee. only thing im wandering is why you didnt go with two clevice mounts instead of your one in the middle?

If you really wanna learn see if you have a local tech center. We have one here that's $350 a semester one night a week and they provide everything and let you bring in your own material if you want to build something in class.

Haha yeah Fishies it gets the job done, I look forward to getting a mig in the future though. And ColoradoCorey I would love to one day but with the tools I have now it just wouldnt be worth it. I'm an engineering student and an aspiring machinist/metal fabricator so maybe one day!
