I forgot to put in my post I have been wheeling this rig for 5 yrs... and it is mostly built out of used/ traded parts. Everything except for some of the bling that is. Meaning front axle parts were bought new.. everything else used.

What's the final ratio you get out of the 231/231? Do you have a pic of it? I'm just curoius how it works.

Low/Low in 1st gear should be 20.64:1 if I did my math correctly.

But that doesn't seem right.

7.4:1?

231/231 seems cool, 231/d300 seems cooler, lol.

I wonder if anyones done a 241OR/231 combo...

Edit: I guess thats not final drive, but I was curious about what was coming out of the case. Had my terms wrong, lol.

I'm not sure if I was doing the math correctly or not but I figured in the 1st gear transmission gears as well as the two t-cases.

Double transfer cases are always sweet. I met a guy that had a big *** *****'s buggy that was double tcase'd, he put it up next to I think a 70's Ford when he was half lit. Put both cases in low, tranny in 1st gear, let out the clutch and crawled outta the buggy as he watched it drag that old Ford across the field
