Just empty every pocket.
Great vehicles. Fun and run great. Not to complicated. But parts cost money end of story. I think they are worth it to fix up and run. I would join a ****** forum for sure though

My Uncle had one when I was growing up. Dang thing would drive thru, over or under anything. I remember him pulling it up into a tree with the winch one time to work on it. I dont remember what he was working on, but it sure looked funny. Id jump on one in a heartbeat for free... just be ready to spend some money.

my dad has had his ****** for a while, it was his first car and looks a bit nicer now lol. the possibilities are endless with them especially if you have a bit of know how about fabrication. here it is after we rolled it over then he spent 3 years rebuilding it
heres a somewhat recent pic of it.
it has a turbo buick v6, turbo 350 automatic with a dana model 20 trans, dana 30 front with a lock right and 44 rear with a detroit on 35s.
save the bs about the d30 on 35s as people have told him for 14 years that it will break but its been problem free so far
this is by far one of my favorite jeeps and i wouldnt think twice about getting one especially for free

The windshield was at the wrong angle here, but it's since been fixed. It was like that when we got it. FYI, always tow with the windshield DOWN
