A zj, wj, durango, and audi don't have beds. The audi is a fine road car, but as with all European automobiles, you have to be dedicated to doing maintenance and repair. Between the trucks, most of the difference is in the model years and engines. Some are better than others, but I am a Chrysler cast iron fan. If you like the attributes of a sport utility vehicle, I lean toward the wj with the best engine that came in them.
I think that my next vehicle should be a UPS truck because I like automobiles that are easy to get in and out of.
But seriously, my DD is a 2005 Acura TSX with 110,000 miles that I purchased from my brother last year. I really enjoy the handling, fuel economy, reliability, and size.

i agree, the f150.... My buddy has a durango, nice truck! but the interior is kinda lacking, thin seats that wear out easy, we have always had fords, everything from bronco I/II's, box vans, V8 gas f250, Diesel f250, f150's explorers, expeditions, (new vehicle every 2 or 3 years because of work and mileage) Never had any issues with any of the fords. Infact i have always wanted an early 2000's F150 crew cab short bed in white with a tono cover.... (we had one for about a year before we got a 2005 f250 diesel)

go for a f150 or a zj i miss both of em that i had. i had a 93 extended cab long bed f150 that never broke down and my 96 zj, even though i got screwed by a dealer and lost half my money in it would have been great, had many good memories in it too

speaking of audi A4 quatro's.... Our good family friend got the 2010 in black with limo tint and the sports suspension (him and his wife are mechanical engineers and they have 2 jeeps and a sequoia) and he just got it flashed as well....BOY that thing is quick.... i love the paddle shifters and how quiet and smooth it is.... Man oh Man...
so if you can pick up one of those i would recommend it as well =]

hahahah I wish i could get a new car... Im in highschool but I would be going doing light offroading everyonce and a while but mostly around the town stuff and occasional out of town trips. I want a v8 of some sort but wouldn't mind a 2.8 Im leaning towards a gc or f150

Im a fan of pickups. I think half-tons are a waste of steel, but I would look into (on a highschool budget) a 92-96 ford F-150. Get one with a manual tranny and drive it till the body falls off it.

If you just have to go new, I recommend the Mazda B-series, you have to get them through the Mazda Canada site, but they are better priced Ford Rangers.
If I was just trying to go offroading, I would totally get a 65-93 Dodge half ton (or quarter ton, if the price was right). they drink a little bit of gas, but those slant-sixes have crazy torque for their size, and are indestructible! I have a '75 3.9(?)L slant six in my 81 W150, the engine has 600k miles on it, and it still is going strong.
