Default Shock extender question?

Ok this may seem like a dumb question...but some may have read my 89 chevy thread, and i just installed torsion keys to lift the front up...and it fully extended the shocks, and well im kinda low on money to buy full length shocks to fit the lift...so i was looking into shock extenders and every one i find says it wont fit my pickup and i really dont understand why...this is one that im looking at on ebay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/180735066027...84.m1438.l2649 Seems pretty simple, just bolt these on the stock location and bolt the shocks on the extended part...Any ideas on if it will work or not? Thanks

Those wont work, they redesigned the suspension on 99+ trucks and have different type of shocks. The shocks your truck has would not allow an easy/reliable way to add a simple extension to. Look up shocks for a 88-98 then compare them to a newer body style design. The newer shocks are forked on the bottom allowing a easy way to make an extension.
