rear passanger Tire skiding, jumping, locking

rear passanger Tire skiding, jumping, locking
I have an old 1982 scrambler cj8 and when we make turns with it the rear passanger tire does this weird thing where it skids and than jumps. almost like someone hit the breaks on that tire. he jeep is in 4wd if that makes a difference. It only does this on turns. If i am driving strait than it is fine.

Something going bad in the diff or axle bearing/brake on that side. Exploratory surgery is in order.
