Plans for my 92 Comanche
I'm looking to do some stuff to my Manche. 1. i looking for ways to convert it to run on liquid propane (LP) and 2. im looking for ways to make it able to run while submerged in water. i found kits online for the LP convert but the water thing is a bit trickier. i understand i need to a snorkel but besides that im unsure what to do. what do i need to do to the engine and trans and if theres anything i need to do like to the axles, suspension, brakes, or electronics. any advise would be great and im working on getting pics up. if u know how to get pics on here from an iphone let me know. thanks and GO JEEPS!

yea I doubt it was a 92 cause I know they made VERRRRYYYYY few of them in 92. however if you want to submerge it under water. your looking a a snorkel, a tow truck and a fat wad of cash. Nothing is meant to be submerged under water.....unless its a submarine, of course. your going to short out something or still hydro-lock it.

i checked the VIN and is a 1992 Comanche Pioneer that part im certain of. in doin research on how to make it hydro i read about the Jeep mighty mite which was ment to go in water. the mite was a short lived jeep but none the less it did do the job.

oh and when i mean submerge i mean to drive in water not to dung in all the way under. i only plan on driving in water that is only 6-7 feet deep which would be half way up my windshield after i put on a lift kit

how big of tires? i am 6'2" and my head is just about level with the top of the roof with 6.5" lift and 33s.
my 92 was built in 4/92. i contacted jeep and the day was April 24th. April was thought to be the last month they were built, but there has been one to surface that was built May 2nd, 1992.
