Does anyone know if the control arms from the earlier model are shared with anything else? There aren't any liberty's in my local junk yard

This a actually a Cherokee forum, but I think you should call a Jeep dealer and find out if they ever changed the part number during the time the Liberty was produced.

I actually just replaced a lower arm on a lib not to long ago it was ordered from ebay. Any lib parts are hard to find I see one once in a while in the yards here but they get picked quick. If you bent the arm that bad I would look at the subframe bolt and see what moved where and aligh it back up, get a new control arm and do a somewhat home aligh and get it aligh at a shop.

I'm aware, and I own a cherokee... But I'm helping a friend, and seeing how generally people on here are nice, I'd ask here real quick.

Most are cool but there are a few that have nothing better to do than make smart remarks. There is a truck and van salvage yard here in Moultrie Ga. *** Truck, Van, and SUV. If you want, PM me with model info, the part you need, and Ill see if they might have one. If so, Ill get it to you for cost of the part plus shippping.
