If that is a quad trail you should not be on it. TREAD LIGHTLY..
And is it even legal to be there in a vehicle?
Sorry to bust you on this but it;s people not thinking that makes every person driving a 4x4 look like a stupid red neck..

So that is government owned land that's part of the Lake? If so did you check with the proper authorities as to what was allowed and what not to make sure you could legally drive through these ATV trails? Someone has to own the land whether a private individual, commercial or local government.

Not to far from me. An p.s, a lot of the "quad trails" around here are dual purpose. They might be "quad trails" but most of them are for vehicle use as well because people have cabins and such our on these "trails". They are more like dirt roads that are also designated for "quads" because snow mobilers get to many privileges around here.

x2 when i used to have a cabin in webster there where roads like this all over, alot of old logging roads and fire roads. up there is no roblem at all if you drive down em, those old loggin roads have some beautiful hillside veiws and since most of them havent been used in for ever they can get pretty tricky to get through i.e fallen down trees and erosion. makes for a fun day, i just always made sure to stay on the roads.

oh yea no intentions of making a mess of that place...we have already started putting up a small cabin in the bush for while we are out there...and with 3 vehicles we have lots of room for all our trash

So let me get this straight your wheeling on ATV trails and your building a cabin on land you have no clue who owns.
And you wonder why trails get closed down..
Your a prime example of why so many places are closed and being closed. Keep up the good work you might get all lands closed before you have kids old enough to drive..

ok. lets remember here. two different countries and probably two different rules or set ideas.
i know that the logging trails up north are for car and atv use. i didnt say anything about cabins. but i also have no idea what the canadians rules are on any of that.

Yep gotta remember this guy and his friends are in Canada and they have very different rules and norms then we do. I personally would love living in Canada lived there for a couple years when I was younger and it was really nice up there.
