Default Jeep with wet feet

1997 jeep grand Cherokee. leak is from the ac unit condensate coin in thru the firewall I guess. I was told the only way to fix it was to cut the frame into, now I suspect there is a much better way. Anyone have an idea we can try?

the cutting into the frame repair seems to be the best repair as far as longevity, there are other ones that involve drilling into the bottom of the drain from inside and attempting to poke out the drain from the inside, from what i have read however the problem is that even if you get it cleared out the water tends to run back on the outside of the tube and will still flow inside, the fix is to put an elbow on the end of the drain so that it cant run back into the cabin yea... i found the writeup https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f52/ac...pet-fix-24246/
