yeah looks like a very rusty YJ with a turdy-5 rear. The body next to it kinda gave it away. Did you find that in the ocean or something?

ya its a yj and actually the frame had nothing but normal surface rust, and the body had no rust to speak of, no rot anywhere. yj frames will rot at the rear, and the body will go to crap to. and the springs and axles are getting replaced anyway. it took me 4 yrs to find a yj in that good of shape so i could take it apart. best lookin 87 in the midwest.

Cool, a good friend just finished a front stretch and also did the shackle reversal on his YJ, it is working REAL nice!

Are you thinking Gen Rite fuek tank for the back?

i'm not sure on the back. i'm gonna do the shackle reversal, and mount the hangers to the bottom of a custom bumper. that puts the axle about 3"-4" forward.

^what did your buddy do?

He extended the rails about 6" and he also had to relocate the gearbox forward. He runs Alcan spirngs SOA and it really flex's like mad!
He did not stretch the rear yet, but he did do comp cut corners which is a great look I think!
