All modern cars are so full of electronics that they can't help but have problems. Hope you get your problems resolved Arab.

the newer malibus are still built on the same platform as the originals, the engine is just a bored out version of the 3.1. intake gaskets will not last more than 60k, costs almost a grand to have replaced. hub bearing assemblies go bad all the time, tie rod ends don't last long either. basically at 60k many problems pop up.
i had a customer with a 2006 malibu company car, hwy miles. 2 yrs old 50k, intake was leaking, rack and pinion leaking, over 2 grand worth of repairs needed. not well built cars, and with the problems american manufacturers are having they are getting worse.
also known for headgaskets to go bad, and the 4 cyl is even worse.
sorry, just my input

Hmm I dunno I have had 2 Toyota Camry's one we still have and it has 125k or so miles on it and has had no major issues other then routine maintenance...Had another that had 120k or so when it got stolen and it was never in the shop for anything but routine maintenance..So all depends on the car..

My mother had the malibu in the first picture, pretty much the exact same car and color. It had constant rotor issues, as all the chevies my parents owned did, but it ran and lasted four years with no other issues. What's up with the rotors issues chevies have? My dad had a s-10 and always replacing rotors. My mom's malibu and monte carlo had rotor issues. My dad's new colorado had to be taken back for rotor replacement due to them rusting up and screeching right off the dealership in mid-summer. My friend's crapolier has to get new rotors every 3 months because they get warped and the dealer cannot fix the problem.

well me been a Chevy owner,, (cobalt) Id suggest stay away from chevy.. the service is terrible, the cars go at least a few times a year for warranty service,, its a PIA.. believe me, I would have lemon law my balt but in PR there is no such law..
well the motor and tranny are great, but the suspension (thats part off my problem) is made of cheap materials or something bc it sound bad.. and I had to take it in for suspension problem 11 times in a year and still no solution...
