Somebody's been drinkin' daddy's hooch again. Look at all the best Jeep TJ's, YJ's, etc...They are ALL running Chevy engines! I even saw an XJ at the off road expo I was at today running a 4.3L in place of a dirty 'ol 4.0L (Sorry 6 cyl. boys, but the Chevy 4.3L kicks you know what out of the Jeep 4.0L)

The ONLY good things that come from the Ford factory is the 8.8 rear, and of coarse, the infamous Ford 9 inch! Well, that and a '69 Bronco...but it's been quite a few years since you could pick one of those up from a Ford dealer.

And as for the way things are going...soon every car company will be a foreign owned company, so I hope that doesn't bother you toooo much!

I spent a long time looking for a "Caprice Classic" .... but I couldn't find one ... and then I bought a 2000 Jeep

 

Like I said I will not ever own a Chevy unless is before 1970! I you gave me a chevy newer than that I wouldn't title it, Instead It would go staight to the crusher.

I rather push a ford than drive a Chevy.

I have had tahoes, suburbans, cavaliers and camaros in the family, all 90's and 2000's and none of them have had any problems. all except for the camaro have had more then 120K. and the 1999 suburban my dad still owns with 150K and nothing wrong.

 

I have driven ALOT of those Malibus.... Hertz and Avis have TONS of them. No Style, No Wow factor, just plain Jane basic transportation. Basically nothing more than the Japan-iztion of the American car companies. Nothing bad to say... but nothing good...

The only good thing about a 4.3l.... it has the same bolt pattern as that stinky 2.8l
