cruise control, horn, air bag all quit working 98 cherokee sport

cruise control, horn, air bag all quit working 98 cherokee sport
98 jeep Cherokee sport, horn, air bag, cruse control all quit working at the same time, my horn just honks when it wants to now but you cant honk it.
I feel something in the steering column is shorting out or broken. Help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like classic clock spring malfunction. I could be wrong. The horn randomly beeping is the only thing that makes me think otherwise, but usually airbag and cruise and horn are all associated with click spring
