I need a tranny for my derby car...im looking at a chevy th350 but it came out of a 4x4, is there any way to make this work in my car? i did some looking online and all i heard is a lot of talk about tailshaft length...i need to know if i can put my tailshaft off my bad th350 onto the 4x4 th350?

Have you posted this on any Chevy forums? May I suggest www.67-72Chevytrucks.com (has a 4x4 section and is not just for 67-72s as the name implies, it just started out that way. Has a large 73-87 section as well) or www.ColoradoK5.com

You'll need to swap out the output shaft as well.

output shaft and housing if you have a short or long housing. but make sure you swap out the output shaft (make sure its not snapped or anything) and your housing. but it should work no problem
