Bronco II Bushwackers on a 2000 4 dr Cherokee?
Would 1985 Ford Bronco II Bushwacker flares work on a 2000 4 dr Cherokee?

I would hope not. I had a 88 and it was the worst truck ever, 2.9 that burned up at 80k w/ regular service and then after rebuild trans went at 100k. I still have nightmares.

'85's were kinda crappy.
'86 to '90 f.i. 2.9's were decent.
You might have gotten a lemon.
2.9's were known for cracking cylinder heads.
Kinda like late 99 to '01 4.0's.
Ive got a '90 XL, and one of mine cracked. Bout $150 each to replace with superduty "World" heads.
My '90 has over 180k on the clock and i love it!
(my Cherokee is nicer, but its 7 years newer)
It even has a d35 up front.
Dislikes = It doesnt flex well, no trac-lok, and only 145 bhp.
Of course removing the rear sway bar, adding a locker, and dropping in a 5.0 would correct that! ;-)

What would you think would be wrong with it if it fouls the plugs and misses and has an oil leak? Thats the only thing that is wrong with it so if its something big I dont want to buy it
