alright well since no one can ever answer a question right on my dodge dakota forum i figured id ask it here.

does anyone know about putting an 08 dodge dakota intake manifold on a 07 dakota. how hard? how much it cost? whats involved? any info at all is welcome

seems as though your a 4.7 fan. my brother has a 01 Dakota Sport with the 4.7 and a 5 speed....it's amazingly quick for a truck, but he wants more and asked me a while back if i knew what was different from his and when they got the significant HP increase, do you know?

yea in 2008 they bumped the hp from around 235 to 302 but the 2008 motor is very different from our motor. but things you can do to make it much faster are CAI, exhaust, superchips, and right now im figuring out how to adapt the intake manifold from the 2008 on to the 2007 but it will fit an 01 as well
