Yea, the valve stems on those cars are crazy thin, it seems to be a matter of they bend, then the heat after it warms up,expands the metal/warps the valve back into shape but won't really fix itself. When I did the compression test it have me crazy low numbers sometimes, but you could go and do it 2minutes later and it's within spec.

Update!!!
One thing I did not check was fuel pressure. He said its getting 50 psi when it should be much higher on this car.
So this makes sense because it runs good when first started because of the prime and once that runs out the first bank fuel rail is taking more of the fuel and causing the misfires on the 2nd bank.
He wants to make sure that is the exact issue first before we replace the pump.

If I'm not mistaken, 50psi is within spec. Hook the gauge back up and bring the rpms up, watch fuel pressure,if it drops down then I would consider a pump, if it rises like it should I would say keep checking.

Yea but what about the volume of fuel being delivered? I've seen on some vehicles that had proper pressure but were not pushing enough.

Volume and pressure are related, revving the car up with the gauge hooked up will determine if the volume/pressure drops off under demand.
