My buddy is looking into getting a really nice ramcharger...He donates the cash, I do the Labor, We both share the spoils of off-roading fun...Now we want this thing to look whitetrash beautiful! HAHA! Right now we're thinking cutting the hood and shooting out a pipe for exhaust, similar to a stack...and another pipe for a snorkel setup. Question is...if we run headers...do you all think I'll have enough clearence to connect a tube from driver side header to passenger side header and clear the tranny? Come on I'm sure someone on here has a Ramcharger?

I had an '84 Ramcharger that had a 440 and 727 trans installed in it. It had headers and there was lots of room. Of course it was only 2WD.

Hey I appreciate it! The one we looked at has a 318 in it and is 4wd, but it seems to have quite a bit of room.

Yeah, I think you could put two 318's in that engine compartment. I had a lotta' fun with mine.

We are planning to chop the roof...add a rollbar...add a better lift (it has blocks now) fix a dent in the passenger fender...and paint. I'll add pics as soon as I can...If the lady let's us buy it that it!

Good luck with the purchase. Sounds like it would be a great project.
