Default Snowblower motor (off-topic)

Ok so heres the thing guys my friend and I are in the process of building a snowblower powered bicycle and its going very well but now we have mounted the motor on a mock up peice of wood to get the mounting postion right before we have the wood peice made out of steel and welded so anyway heres are problem when we mounted the motor (2-stroke by the way) the carb is strait up and down we tought this was good for the intake and such but when we pull the recoil starter fuel rushes thru the carb even when the throtte is closed and pours out the exhaust does anyone know why this would be happening?

I will add pictures tomarrow it is dark sorry

Those carbs are built to mount down. Is it facing downwards?

They worked fantastic when they worked correctly...But when they have diaphragm problems they will gush fuel out through the carb.

How are you guys going to deal with the governor??? (both my snowblowers are at the small engine guy right now due to governor problems)

Okay... how was it originally mounted on the snow blower???

If it was a vertical shaft engine..you now have it mounted as a horizontal. The fuel is dumping out the carb due to the fact you have the carb laying on its side... Its not designed to run on that much of an angle.... This motor is a different design than I was talking about earlier.
