Don't forget to beef up the frame at the steering box. There are weld-on kits avail. A weak spot on this vintage Chevy. A must.

Man I love these trucks. Looking great. Out of curiosity, can't you put a 454 in there?

Noticed you had it on the smaller tires when doing the engine swap... Guessing there were problems. =P

Ordered a new alum intake, holley 670 street avenger, holley performance fuel pump, headman headers

Just have to take the time to clean up the engine compartment and paint the frame then the motor goes in hopefully soon, new inner fenders, pricing outer fenders, and plan on buying a billet grill soon.

Ended up taking the zz4 motor to the shop...got new crank bearings, new cam bearing, piston rings, cleaned up and cleaned out, valve job, had to deck the heads, all new seals and gaskets, and everything cleaned up...didnt plan on doing that till I checked some tolerances and im glad I did... made some progress got the motor back in 5 working days and installed it in the truck...I killed all the rust on the frame with OSPHO, going to finish painting the frame and underside of the truck this weekend. going to assemble the accessories on the motor and put on the headers ect and put on the 2inch body lift i bought.. this is where im at....
