1982 Ford F-100 with 1985 351 Windsor Idle problem< bec. its a ford
My buddy has a 1982 f100 with a 1985 f150 engine and automatic trannmission swap. The idle is a little high whenever it is in park, but when you put it in Drive and don't press the gas pedal it drops like crazy and will stall in about 15 seconds.
The swapped engine and tranny are from the same truck.
Any ideas? Thanks.

sounds like it could be running lean, like a vacuum leak or needing the carb to be rebuilt
