well, i bought it knowing there were a few problems..was gonna sell it and get a truck but thats out the window. right now is leaking gas, not sure if its a line or the injectors..definitly not the tank..also needs a drivers shock and a rad coming up soon.

but

lots of rust, my plan is to cut out the rockers and chop up the rear quarter panels, get rid of all the rust and paint it either black or tan. paint the wheels black, fix the exhaust with a cherry bomb turbo muffler and driver it into the ground.

opinions?

shes a 1990 mustang lx with a 2.3, auto, bought to serve dd duty for $900





jeep will be getting painted camo too this spring so ill be busy painting

Don't paint it tan. Some old guy around here owns a tan one. It looks terrible in that color.

well i think im just going to drive it while the jeep is getting overhauled this spring and then either sell it or scrap it and get a civic or bonneville or some kind of car hahahaha

Wow, and I thought my project Mustang was rusty! You can trash a stang though, even if it's a 2.3L. A little bit of work, some strong internals, a turbo and you'll be flying in that thing. Cut out the cancer, weld in some new metal, a little bondo to clean up the edges and paint it satin black, they look awesome in satin black. Flat black just makes it look like crap if it's done with spray cans. Here's what I'm working with

if it's DD and u only paid 900 bucks for it.. drive it till something breaks. if it's cheap fix it if not tell some highschool kid he can have it for 1000 and he'll go nuts.

hah thanks guys yeah i mean, were hitting the busy season at work which means maybe over time which means $$$ which is going into the jeep so while the jeep is getting painted, ill be driving the stang but im thinking come mid summer, ill be dding the jeep once its done and save up for a nice civic or bonneville or something. the car runs and drives so whatever ill drive it til it dies haha but i need to do some work to make ye ole jeep street legal..

Don't buy a civic and put a fart can on the back of it. It doesn't add 150 HP, it just sounds like crap.
